The Love Garden has grown strong roots at Love Orphanage! The garden was initiated by a volunteer team just six months ago, as a sustainable and cost effective way to provide the children with much needed nutrition. The kids enthusiastically helped turn the soil, plant and water the young seedlings. Now six months later, the Love Garden continues to flourish and  has even been expanded to another section of the yard. The garden currently includes spinach, eggplant, green peppers, and beets. The children take pride in helping care for the garden, watering it each day, and picking produce. Not only are they eating delicious, fresh produce on a daily basis, they are learning valuable life skills! This project is truly a “grassroots” success!
