2022 Musical Fund Society Award winner Jean Bernard Cerin and pianist Veena Kulkarni-Rankin fuse classical and world music with storytelling in a transformative concert experience as the duo Kuwento Mizik. In Krik! Krak! Songs and Stories from Haiti, listeners will take a deep dive into the rarely explored world of Haitian art songs, solo classical piano repertoire, arrangements of traditional folk songs for the concert stage and Kuwento Mizik’s original adaptation of the Haitian folktale, Tezen!

There are many ways to raise money and have fun doing it! Why not team up with friends, family, or colleagues to help raise money for Love Orphanage? Even a small scale effort can lead to big results!

Ripple campaign: Pledge a $10 donation and recruit 10 friends to do the same for a collective donation of $110!
Run for Love Orphanage: 5K, walkathon, triathlon, you decide!
Dedicate your birthday day and ask friends to make donations in lieu of a birthday gift.
Brown bag lunch once per week instead of buying and donate the money you save.
Group FUNdraising: Team up with family, friends, neighbors to sponsor a child!
Corporate fundraising: Does your employer match donations to tax exempt non-profit organizations?
Change Jar: Do you know a local business that would host a Love Orphanage change collection jar?
Host a meal at your organization, business, or home and collect donations for every plate.
